Chicken Poxs can ruin a day of fun

Well today the plan was to meet my new friend at 7:30am and spent the day and evening together. He has a 10 year old daughter and had arranged a sleep over at one of her friend's house. So we would have a day and evening of getting to know each other better.

Last night I get a call. I am sorry baby I have to take my daughter to the docotors Friday. The school sent her home with chicken poxs... I course say that is ok and we will have another day together. The most important thing is your daughter so do what you need to do with her.

Now I am disappointed that my day was ruin by chicken poxs but there is nothing I can do about it and for the next 5 to 10 days I will not be seeing my friend and again there is nothing I can do about it.

Since I will not be seeing my friend the best thing I can hope for is that absence makes the heart grow fonder and we don't lose interest in each other....

Hopefully the fates won't screw with this friendship.
