Wishing I was somewhere else Wednesdays #4
This weeks somewhere else is San Diego CA.
Well if you like wild animals, water and sun this is the place to go.
Once arriving in San Diego you will notice that is weather is quite nice. It seldom rains in San Diego and the temps are usually in the 70's to 80's.
My most favorite sight to see is the San Diego Zoo. The zoo is so big it would take 2 days to see it all. They have animals from all around the world. You can learn about the endanger animals and how they are being protected. There are shows to see and up close and personal tours that you can take. The zoo is a great way to spend the day.
If its water you want then stop at Sea World. You may ask what is different about Sea World in San Diego. Well I am glad you ask because this Sea World is the only one that is connected to the ocean. All other Sea Worlds are inland and do not have the ability to help rescue ocean life when they need help. San Diego Sea World is the center for sea life rescues. The animal that is in need of help are brought to Sea World where there are taken care of and release back to the ocean. I found Sea World of San Diego to be very educational and I had a lot of fun on my visit.
If you prefer to be in the water then the beaches are the place to be. They are clean and very sandy and the water is very calm there are not a lot of waves due to the location of San Diego on the coast of CA.
There are so many things to do you just will not get to do everything you want. So take more than a few days to see San Diego.
My best advice see a travel agent because they will be able help see all of San Diego in the time that you have.
