Birthday Party

Tonight I went to my friend's birthday party.... There was young men there and older men there.... I arrived a little pissed off because I was suppose to be escorted by a date who said yes he would go with me and guess what he did not call or show... but that's ok Polt from Poltpalace was suppose to go along also but he cancelled on me due to a sickness....

Now here I go alone to a party so as the evening progress the food and booze was flowing. A gentleman that I will call C started flirting with me and I said what the hell I will flirt back because right now in my opinion all men are dogs... so I was going to play.....

I will admit C is a very nice man and if he would ask me out I would say yes.... but I don't think that would happened....

But any hoo the party was a blast and after everyone left me and the birthday girl hopped in the hot tub and relaxed our tried bones...... too bad C did not stay....

So that is my evening of fun.....

What did I do today?

Last night I made plans with a special friend to meet in DC and spend the day and evening doing whatever we wanted.

Sunday morning comes and I get ready. I call my friend to confirm got the voice mail and I left. It takes me 2 hours to get there and I wait and wait and wait and low and behold my friend does not show and does not call. I call my friend and get voice mail leave message that I was leaving and driving back home.

I don't know to be pissed off or sad or what because did something happened or was I stood up.

I decided that since I was in the DC there was a clothing shop I used to go to all the time so I decided to see if it was still in business so off to the store I go and sure enough it was still there and open. I go in look around saw a lot of stuff that I wanted but did not buy but I said I'm getting something because this is not going to be a wasted trip. So I got a nice peach color shirt should go nicely with my coloring.

I drive 2 hours back home and stop at the grand opening of the new CVS well the parking sucks and everyone in town was there so I maded my way through the madness got somethings I needed and got some caramel eggs and came home.

Now I turn on my computer low and behold their are offline messages from my friend. The first one states I am sorry I just woke up according to the time stamp is was sent at 12:13pm at this point in time my friend was 13 minutes late in meeting me. The second one states call me b4 you leave please. Well I called before I left as per our arrangement the night before which makes my friend 2 hours late on that message.

I sit and think is it my fault for the wasted trip because my friend did not answer the phone at 10:00am and I left anyway. My friend can send an IM messages but did not call my cell phone?

It is now later in the day and I still have not heard from my friend.. I am guessing that my friend is not what I think he is. I think I am be played and I think I am going to play back and when I play it can get mean and nasty. What is a girl to do????

My friend is suppose to come up on Friday for a party. I invited him so my friends could check him out and I was hoping the friend was a keeper but this is the second time he has screwed up. I will not even go into the 1st screw up which I have not really forgiven him for but I really like this friend and I want to see what develops.

If he does not show Friday that's it 3 strikes and your out. Oh well I guess I am destine to be alone.. Thank God for my friends they keep me going.
